Strategies for Systems Change in Children's Mental Health: A Chapter Action Kit
This resource was designed to provide American Academy of Pediatrics state chapters with strategies to improve children’s mental health programs and services in primary care settings. These range from the simple (e.g., initiating dialogue with mental health professionals, developing resource listings) to the more complex and time intensive (e.g., changing coverage or payment for mental health services, building a children’s mental health coalition). Many of these strategies are based on the experiences of several state chapters of the AAP, including Connecticut, Massachusetts, North Carolina, and Texas.
