Princella Learry (Schenectady, NY), Patsy Hawk (Todd County, SD), and Mary Thorngren (TAS) Schools and their community partners all have key roles to play in preventing suicides. Princella Learry from Schenectady, NY provides information on how their school district has implemented successful strategies and practices to address suicide prevention. Patsy Hawk from Todd County, SD discusses their partnership with health, Indian Health Services Behavioral Health Department and with Wiconi Wakan Health and Healing Center to improve referrals and placement for aftercare and services.
