This DataTrends summary provides an overview of two brief articles that discuss the implementation of evidence-based practice. The summary describes the ways that states are playing a role in the implementation of evidence-based practices for children with emotional and behavioral problems and their families. The first article introduces the Child and Family Evidence-based Practices Consortium, a national collaboration of organizations committed to providing a forum for sharing ideas and strategies for implementing evidence-based practices at the state level. The second article discusses six primary dimensions that appear to characterize the state of large-scale implementation efforts today.
