Science-Based Framework for Early Childhood Policy: Using Evidence to Improve Outcomes in Learning, Behavior, and Health for Vulnerable Children
This report provides a framework to guide policymakers toward science-based policies that improve outcomes in learning, behavior, and health for vulnerable children. The report combines scientific knowledge about early childhood and early brain development with findings from program evaluation research into a unified framework. It identifies factors that lead towards positive outcomes for children, such as strengthening the family environment and serving children in out-of-home environments.
