This issue brief, co-authored by Patsy Hampton from CA Project LAUNCH, is the product of a day-long Think Tank with national leaders in evidence-based practice (EBP), program administrators, EBP developers, policymakers, and funders. The event engaged participants in a discussion of the issues related to adoption and implementation of evidence-based mental health practices for young children and their families. Topics covered include defining EBPs, the role of culture and family choice in EBP implementation, and challenges to implementation of EBPs with very young children, to name a few.
