This first in a series of three teleconferences is specially designed to address the concerns of law enforcement and juvenile justice partners in the Safe Schools/Healthy Students Initiative. Partners from the Hillsboro, OR SS/HS team present on a new program that is currently being implemented to reduce truancy and improve attendance. Participants are invited to discuss the successes and challenges of their own truancy programs. Presenters from the Hillsboro team include the Project Director, two Assistant Principals, the Director of Student Services, and the Director of the Washington County Juvenile Department.
