Toward Safe and Orderly School - The National Study of Delinquency Prevention in Schools

This research brief presents findings from a national survey of elementary, middle, and secondary schools. The brief discusses activities, curricular programs, and security measures schools have adopted to prevent delinquency, as well as barriers to success, including use of unproven or poorly implemented programs. Key characteristics of successful programs and strategies for improving program quality and implementation are identified.
