The COPS School-Based Partnerships grant program partnered law enforcement agencies with schools, students, administrators, school support staff, parents, and local businesses to address crime and disorder problems in middle and high schools. This report focuses on three SBP sites and their use of the SARA (scanning, analysis, response and assessment) problem-solving process to address specific issues in their schools: students and teachers feeling threatened, illegal drug sales, and truancy.
