Monitoring the Future: Overview of Key Finding, 2011
The 2011 MTF survey encompassed approximately 46,500 eighth-, 10th-, and 12th-grade students in almost 400 secondary schools nationwide. This long-term study has examined substance use by American adolescents on an annual basis since its inception in 1975. This overview report gives a synopsis of design and methods used in this study and highlights key results from the survey, including figures that illustrate trends, of drug use by grade level and drug type.
