The Health and Well-Being of Children in Rural Areas: A Portrait of the Nation 2007
This chartbook presents the major findings of the National Survey of Children's Health on the health of children in rural areas. Aspects of health measured for ages 0-17 were oral, physical, and mental health; health care utilization and insurance status; and social well-being. Family structure, poverty level, parental health and habits, and community surroundings were assessed, along with age, sex, race and ethnicity, and family income.
