Guide to Community Preventive Services: Systemic Reviews and Recommendations
This CDC-sponsored Web site summarizes what is known about the effectiveness, economic efficiency, and feasibility of interventions to promote community health and prevent disease. It offers recommendations for the use of various interventions based on the evidence gathered in scientific reviews of published studies. Recommendations are organized by topic, which include alcohol, cancer, mental health, diabetes, substance abuse, motor vehicle, nutrition, oral health, physical activity, pregnancy, tobacco, sexual behavior, social environment, vaccines, and violence.
