The National Center for Mental Health Promotion and Youth Violence Prevention has created a Web-based “Framework for Effectively Implementing Evidence-Based Programs and Practices (EBPs)” derived from current implementation research and interviews with SS/HS grantees. The framework describes the key factors to consider in three stages: (1) Selection, (2) Preparation, and (3) Implementation of EBPs, along with essential evaluation issues to address at each stage. It provides practical action steps, strategies, and tools for planning and implementation, along with concrete examples of how SS/HS sites have successfully overcome implementation obstacles.
