This American Academy of Pediatrics survey identifies the characteristics of youth who are targets of Internet harassment and the characteristics related to reporting distress as a result of the incident. The data includes the age of the target, their use of the Internet, frequency and type of harassment, and the characteristics related to reporting distress by the victim. A summary and suggestions for prevention interventions are provided as well.
