Environmental Health in Early Childhood Systems Building: Opportunities for States
The National Center for Children in Poverty (NCCP) has published a new paper which discusses some of the environmental hazards that threaten young children inside and nearby home and/or early childhood program settings and describe the importance of early intervention for disease prevention. Specific actions states can take to successfully address environmental health issues affecting children are also included.
