Cultural Considerations
The Native Americans of today, and of the past, present a picture of broad diversity of culture. Several writers (Bryde, 1972; Richardson, 1981; Trimble, 1976; Zintz, 1963) have identified some attributes that are considered to characterize Native American people and have listed those polar traits that correspond for the Anglo-American majority culture. This document summarizes the values perspectives that are commonly cited.
