A Guide for Advancing Family-Centered and Culturally and Linguistically Competent Care

The guide is intended for use by a diverse array of stakeholders and constituencies in the integrated system of services for children and youth with special health care needs and their families. The guide provides a template of strategies and activities, responsible entities and individuals, potential partners, and resources for five areas of focus areas including; strategies and activities; research and dissemination; training, education, and professional development information; exchange and social marketing; innovative practices; and accountability and outcomes.
