Pathways Out of Poverty Grant Program - Washington, DC Area

Eligibility: 

Applicants must be nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations located in and/or providing services in the greater Washington, D.C., region (defined as the District of Columbia, the counties of Arlington and Fairfax, and the city of Alexandria in Virginia; and Montgomery and Prince George's counties in Maryland).

Grants will not be made for capital or endowment programs, or for sectarian religious purposes.

Grant Deadline: 
February 8, 2012

For projects serving youth, the foundation seeks proposals that focus on improving student achievement and healthy development of young people of middle school age and above. Projects may include in-school and community-based educational programs, afterschool activities, and mentoring programs. Programs designed to increase high school graduation rates are encouraged to apply.
