Date/Time (ET):
September 11, 2012 - 1:00pm - 2:30pm
Led By:
Project LAUNCH TA Team

The Early Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT) component of Medicaid is one of the most important elements of the vast and complicated Medicaid system. Understanding EPSDT is important for people and organizations working with children in the behavioral health arena; a good working knowledge of EPSDT can assist with planning, program design, policy development, and community partnership development. This session on Medicaid and ESPDT features Kay Johnson, who has worked with Project LAUNCH in the past. Ms. Johnson is an expert in state financing and has prepared a lively and engaging presentation which will be useful to all participants.
