Creating Your Evaluation Plan

Date/Time (ET):
December 3, 2009 - 2:00pm - 3:30pm
Led By:
Federal staff, National Center for Mental Health Promotion and Youth Violence Prevention

You have just recently returned from your first grantee meeting with a sense of renewed energy and your final implementation logic model has been completed or is near to being complete. The evaluation meeting looms on the horizon after the start of the new year. One of the next steps in the Safe Schools/Healthy Students process is to develop and submit a formal project evaluation plan.

This interactive Webinar provides a detailed description of the components that your evaluation plan should include and an optional template that can be utilized to ensure that you are meeting the grant requirements. This Webinar is designed for both Project Directors and local evaluators. The purpose of this Webinar is not to teach people how to create an evaluation plan from scratch. Rather, it is intended to help Project Directors and evaluators engage in a conversation about evaluation and to develop a plan that all parties agree upon and feel is appropriate. Even for those sites that have already developed a draft evaluation plan, this Webinar relays important information on the components that Federal Project Officers are looking for in the final plan.
