This addition to the Child Trend's "What works" series, provides information on specific types of programs designed to improve child and adolescent development. The new tables summarize research on effective and promising programs for designing, administering, or funding services for children and adolescents. The tables include specific information on academic achievement programs, mentoring programs, civic engagement programs, employment programs, and programs for educationally disadvantaged older adolescents.
