NIDA utilizes scientific research to understand how drugs affect the brain and behavior, and works to ensure the rapid and effective transfer of scientific data to policy makers, drug abuse practitioners, other health care practitioners, and the general public. This website includes resources for parents and teachers as well as students and young adults, and offers materials in Spanish. Resources include fact sheets on specific drugs and recommended reading, prevention curricula, publications, and links to other NIDA-sponsored websites.
