Johns Hopkins Center for the Prevention of Youth Violence
The Johns Hopkins Center for the Prevention of Youth Violence collaborates with academic institutions, city and state agencies and organizations, community groups, schools, youth groups, and faith organizations in the areas of positive youth development and the prevention of violence. By integrating research findings with education and training, professional development, and practice efforts, the Center provides the infrastructure that facilitates academic-community collaborations and translating research into improved professional practice. The Center also offers links to a variety of resources in the area of youth violence, with topics such as advocacy, mentoring, and evaluation tools.
