Progress and Possibilities in Preventing Mental, Emotional and Behavioral Health Problems Among Children and Youth: Highlights from the Institute of Medicine Report

In 2009, the Institute of Medicine published a landmark report highlighting research advances and promising interventions in the prevention of behavioral health problems in young people. Dr. Biglan will present a summary of the key findings and recommendations from this seminal document. Dr. Hawkins will then identify strategies for implementing prevention programs and activities at the community level. Following the formal presentations, there will be a Q & A session to allow participants to pose questions to the presenters.
