Date/Time (ET):
June 22, 2009 - 2:00pm - 3:30pm
Led By:
Latino Networking Group

School districts across the U.S. are making plans for program activities to take place in the next school year. How are you integrating the needs and strengths of the diverse populations in your schools and communities into the planning process?

This Webinar, presented by the Latino Networking Group, provides an opportunity to discuss how to incorporate CLC (Cultural and Linguistic Competence) into staff training, family outreach activities, evidence-based interventions and ultimately, into decisions made at the district level. Two grantees, Paul Cordeiro, Superintendent of Schools from Carpinteria, CA, and Marjory Lewe-Brady, Project Director from West Chicago, IL, present effective strategies that they are using to respond to the needs of the Latino population that may apply to additional diverse communities.
