Information on this Web site is geared toward program funders, practitioners, and decision-makers, and pertains to children ages 18 and under and to the families and communities in which they live. It is organized into three main sections: (1) Proven and Promising Programs (injury-related benchmarks include: increase the percentage of children who do not experience physical, psychological or emotional abuse; increase the percentage of juveniles who do not engage in violent behavior); (2) Research in Brief (links to full text documents and reports on topics including child abuse and neglect, unintentional injuries, youth violence, school violence and bullying), and (3) Strengthening Service Delivery (includes short discussions of forming, funding, and maintaining community partnerships and collaborations, program implementation, evaluating the process and monitoring outcomes, and results-based decisionmaking).
