Systems Change

Strategic Planning

Project LAUNCH leaders use a strategic planning process to develop strategies for promoting young child wellness in their target communities. Lessons learned from these interventions help shape policy, regulation, and programming to strengthen ongoing child wellness efforts.

Environmental Scanning

Environmental scanning serves as an important initial step in the strategic planning process.

Governance

State-based Project LAUNCH grantees are required to establish young child wellness councils at both the state and local levels. Both tribal and community grantees form similar councils.
