Successful Bullying Prevention: Select, Implement, and Integrate
Bullying is a major concern in schools across the country, with significant impact on physical, social, and emotional safety as well as on overall school climate and student academic performance. What can SS/HS sites do to address bullying effectively? This interactive session highlights exciting work by two SS/HS initiatives. These sites will share lessons learned concerning identifying available evidence-based interventions, selecting a bullying prevention program that fits your community, implementing it well, and integrating the program into other community initiatives in order to sustain it over time. You will receive a range of resource materials and have ample time to raise specific questions and share successes and challenges that your site may have experienced.
